Visitor Visa

Visitor Visa

Visit visa, also known as Temporary Resident Visa, is the visa issued to the visitors for the sole purpose of visiting Canada as a tourist or visiting friends and family or attending a convention in Canada.
  • A visitor visa, also known as a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), is required for most foreign nationals who wish to visit Canada. The visitor visa allows individuals to enter Canada for a specific purpose, such as tourism, visiting friends and family, or business.
  • The processing time for a visitor visa can vary depending on the country of origin, and the workload of the immigration office processing the application. The visa is usually valid for a period of 6 months.
  • Canada has also the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) which is a different type of travel document required for visa-exempt foreign nationals. The eTA is linked to the passport and is valid for five years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
  • We want you to understand that the final decision to issue a visa lies with the immigration officer and no one else. No immigration consultant can influence the officer’s decision.
